Germany’s most innovative medium-sized companies – Stern study

Niesmann+Bischoff is one of the 500 most innovative medium-sized companies from 30 different industries.

The German Society for Consumer Research (DtGV) has identified the 500 most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany using an objective, data-based methodology for Stern magazine. It is based on patent performance in the period from 1 October 2021 to 30 September 2022.

Who invented it? We did, of course. The iSmove is proof that we’re breaking old rules to devise clever new features for our motorhomes. We use high-quality materials both on the inside and outside of our vehicles: for example, two-sided aluminium sandwich walls with Styrofoam insulation and a sculpted, sporty rear panel and front mask made of GRP. The interior features unusual materials and textures, the likes of which you won’t find in any other motorhome. The innovations are evident in the interior and on the underbody. Inside, the most has been made of the available space: there’s a flexible bathroom, a rotating bench seat, an expandable kitchen that grows depending on the task you’re performing, and a clear line of sight from the cockpit to the rear bed. The underbody is where all of the high-tech equipment and extraordinary features are hidden, which keep you self-sufficient for days on end and are anything but the norm.

In the years before launching the Flair, we did everything we could to make travelling even more comfortable and, more importantly, safer. While this has been common in passenger cars for a long time now, in the liner class of fully-integrated motorhomes, it is something of a unique selling point for the Flair. It is the only liner that features airbags, ESP, a seatbelt tensioner and a crash mechanism for the brake.

What makes us so successful? Each and every member of staff at Niesmann+Bischoff. There are architects, engineers, a multitude of craftsmen and installers, purchasers and designers – yet no matter what we do, we are all united by a common desire to achieve perfection, right down to the smallest details. Transforming ideas into works of art.
