Markus Lindenthaler – owner and connoisseur – as a passionate, professional and magnificent sommelier and connoisseur of Austria is the creator of many an insiders’ tip: Just test a gourmet menu with selected wines in the speciality restaurant in the most beautiful cove of the lake Wolfgang.

The meanwhile legendary Joseph’s right beside the lake offers more than just delicacies and beguiling splendid wines or fire waters of the special type. Just the view onto the Lake Wolfgang and the marvellous sun terrace do offer the best qualifications to widely travelled gourmets and demanding gourmands, wanting to spend an unforgettable evening with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. For this, the time of the year is hardly an issue: If for the popular Christmas market, during the des „Shake the Lake“ or the „AirChallenge“ – a reservation is recommended in any case. (By the way, it takes only a few minutes to walk to the close-by motor caravan pitch.) In 2010 the Joseph’s was formally rewarded with several  awards: One Gault Millau toque with 14 points (of 20), the »Bierkrone« (beer crown) for the best restaurant with beer culture in Upper Austria (also by Gault Millau) as well as 90 points (of 100) with three forks from Falstaff.
